Founded in 2025, shirayuki.ski is a proud member of the Monteluxe Collective. Derived from the Japanese word for “white snow,” our brand was created to pursue the world’s finest powder and share those legendary lines with a dedicated circle of skiers under the trusted standard of our collective family.

We step away from large corporate tours and mass guiding to curate boutique, high-end journeys. By keeping everything in small, intimate groups, we preserve the relaxed, authentic feel of traveling with a close-knit group of friends—backed by the peace of mind that comes from riding alongside fellow freeriders with decades of high-level experience and elite alpine training.

Our Story & The Journey Ahead

Following our inception in 2025, we piloted our flagship, members-only JaPow expedition to Japan in January 2026. This exclusive inaugural journey brought together a select circle of freeriders to experience the world’s deepest snows in an unforgettable, small-group atmosphere.

Building on the success of that pilot expedition, we are thrilled to officially open bookings to the general public for the 2027 season, inviting passionate skiers to join us on curated freeride journeys across the globe.

• Certified EU Ski Guides & Instructors: Every professional in our collective holds top-tier European qualifications, ensuring world-class technical coaching and mountain leadership.
• Extensive Avalanche & Safety Training: Operating beyond marked pistes requires uncompromised safety protocols. Our team undergoes rigorous, ongoing training in snowpack analysis, avalanche risk assessment, terrain interpretation, and rescue management.
• Strictly Small Groups (Max 7): To ensure total safety in complex off-piste terrain, dynamic progression, and an intimate experience, our groups are strictly limited to a maximum of 7 guests.

The shirayuki.ski Powder Chasing Weeks are organized in seamless collaboration with the travel agency division of the Monteluxe Collective. As a fully registered entity, the agency brings years of specialized expertise to crafting high-end adventure itineraries both on and off the snow. This partnership guarantees a professionally managed experience, combining local mountain insights with the logistical rigor and safety standards of an established travel operator.
